There has been a catastrophic decline in wildlife populations in recent years. Many species are threatened with extinction due to various factors. Further conservation efforts are urgently required to ensure the survival of the remaining individuals. In this course we will explore how deep neural networks can be applied to wildlife monitoring tasks, in particular to detect animal vocalisations (bioacoustics) and detect images of animals (camera traps).
